What goes around comes around

Circularity is deeply rooted in the natural world and has been driving the rhythms of life for over 3.8 billion years. Whether it's the intricate workings of the human body, the balanced ecosystem of a forest, or the self-sustaining depths of the ocean, everything is interconnected. Everything works together in harmony. Nature doesn't produce any waste, nor does she take more than what she gives back. Everything is alive, thriving and flourishing, and at the end of its life it will nourish and become food for new life to grow.

A circular economy mimics this natural flow, meaning that products no longer have a life cycle with a beginning, middle, and end. The goal is to contribute zero waste and instead add value to the ecosystems. In a Circular Economy, when materials stop getting used, they go back into a useful cycle. Just like in natural ecosystems, resources are continuously cycled and regenerated.

Just as nature does, we can consciously design everything to be restorative and regenerative. Because we all create our world together, everyday, with each one of our decisions. This means we can also co-create a society where we foster love and compassion for all beings and where we respectfully care for the space we live in. Wouldn't that create a better future for all of us?
